Bring Your Mug to Westmorland’s Summer Nights!
The Westmorland Neighborhood Association (WNA) proudly presents the much-anticipated “Summer Nights @ Westmorland“ event. Join us on 9/3 at the scenic Westmorland Park for an evening dedicated to community bonding, sublime entertainment, and delicious refreshments. All proceeds from this delightful evening will go towards the Westmorland Park Improvements. We are introducing a “sustainable sips” theme, bring your own mug/tumbler!
The evening is set to kick off with some movement and inspiration, led by Pogie the Yogie. Afterward, the kids will be serenaded by the fun singalongs performed by Casey Day. Around 5pm, the music will be kicking up, led by the Sean Michael Dargan Trio-Band leading to the climax of the evening with the rhythmic grooves of the Adem Tresfaye Band.Sound will be exquisitely managed by the renowned Veena Productions to ensure every note reaches your heart.
From mouth-watering food carts to refreshing beverages, there’s something for everyone. Relish the global flavors from Thailand in a Truck and Jolly Frog.Quench your thirst with Gray’s Brewery Root Beer or try an array of beers including the crispy Miller Lite, the rich Badger State On Wisconsin American Amber Ale, the refreshing Toppling Goliath Radiant Haze Hazy IPA, the tasty Toppling Goliath Pseudo Sue Pale Ale, the festive Central Waters Octoberfest and the smooth Heineken 0.0 (non-alcoholic). For cider lovers, the Redd’s Wicked Apple awaits.Fancy a seltzer? We’ve got Truly and White Claw! And don’t forget to round off the feast with some ice cream!
For our younger guests and the young-at-heart, Magical Bubbles will be present to dazzle, while the jumbo Bounce House promises bouncy fun. And as the summer sun is still heating us up, cool down with the sprinkler or have a playful fight with reusable water balloons.

Westmorland Neighborhood Announcement
Hi neighbors, we have a record turnout for the Sept. 9 WNA Golf Benefit at the Glen Golf Park this year! We’re at capacity for the event so I can only put any new registrations on a waiting list. This is great for raising funds for the WNA but unfortunate for anyone who hasn’t registered to date. We’ve always had successful turnouts for past benefits but were limited to a set number of tee times and we hadn’t gotten to the point where we could schedule a “shotgun” start which requires the course to close completely. We plan to do that next year with the expectation that we’ll have a great turnout again. Apologies for this but I guess it’s a good problem for the WNA to have!
The success of this event is due to the generosity of all our players and especially to the 2023 Golf Benefit sponsors listed below along with donations from neighbor Dorothy Steffens and Lakeview Veterinary Clinic. All proceeds from the event benefit the programs of the WNA.
