Hi neighbors, we have a record turnout for the Sept. 9 WNA Golf Benefit at the Glen Golf Park this year! We\u2019re at capacity for the event so I can only put any new registrations on a waiting list. This is great for raising funds for the WNA but unfortunate for anyone who hasn\u2019t registered to date. We\u2019ve always had successful turnouts for past benefits but were limited to a set number of tee times and we hadn\u2019t gotten to the point where we could schedule a \u201cshotgun\u201d start which requires the course to close completely. We plan to do that next year with the expectation that we\u2019ll have a great turnout again. Apologies for this but I guess it\u2019s a good problem for the WNA to have!<\/p>\n
The success of this event is due to the generosity of all our players and especially to the 2023 Golf Benefit sponsors listed below along with donations from neighbor Dorothy Steffens and Lakeview Veterinary Clinic. All proceeds from the event benefit the programs of the WNA.<\/p>\n
